Buckwheat hulls (or sobakawa, in Japanese) have been used to fill pillows in Japan and other Asian countries for centuries. The husks hold their shape extremely well and do not compress and flatten as other pillow fillings do, so your neck is properly supported throughout the night and your body is kept properly aligned.

ComfyComfy Canada pillows are filled with Ecocert certified organically grown buckwheat hulls from Canada. They are sieved and cleaned with forced air to remove all fragments and dust. They are not roasted, fumigated or treated in any way so you can sleep easy knowing that no pesticides or harmful chemicals were used to grow or clean the hulls used in our pillows.
